I’m a HIP-viola student in Barcelona, and I’m very much interested in doing the audition for « Venus et Adonis » the next 14th of december in ESMUC.
I’ve been looking for a piece to perform, from an english composer and from the XVllth century, and I found a Sonata by Eccles.
He lived from 1668 until 1735. Would you consider it as an option or it’s too late?
Otherwise, as it’s a bit difficult to find literature for viola from this period, do you have some other ideas or preferences?
