Bio:
Dutch soprano Noëlle Drost (1999) recently graduated with the highest distinction possible from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
She won multiple prizes at the International Student LiedDuo Competition and at the Prinses Christina Competition.
Noëlle sang as a soloist with the Orchestra of the 18th Century under the baton of Daniel Reuss and performed in several concert halls like the Recital hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and in the Hertz-zaal in TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. She also performed multiple times at the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, the dutch national radiochannel ‘Radio 4’ and for the SWR in Stuttgart (DE).
Next to this, she participated in a masterclasses with Philippe Herreweghe, Robert Holl and was invited in August 2021 to a masterclass with Elly Ameling on Lied Repertoire, which has been broadcasted on national television. She was invited with pianist Jorian van Nee to the masterclasses of the International Liedfestival in Zeist and was a young artist during the Leeds Lieder Festival (UK) in 2023.
She performed the role of Sesto in the production ‘Cleopatra e Cesare’ of Graun with the Dutch National Opera Academy in December 2021. In June 2022 she performed the role of Euridice in ‘Orphée et Euridice’ of Glück and in July she sang the title role in Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Saluzzo Opera Academy (IT).

Noëlle is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ in Berlin with Christine Schäfer and Anna Korondi. She finished her bachelor at Royal Conservatoire in The Hague in the class of Rita Dams and Noa Frenkel. Next to this she works together with pianist Maurice Lammerts-van Bueren and has a special love for early music, which she also studied next to classical singing with Pascal Bertin, Peter Kooij, Francesca Aspromonte and Robin Blaze.
