She finished her bachelor’s at NTNU Department of Music in 2020 with professor Elisabeth Meyer Topsøe, and studied a master’s at NTNU with professor Carsten Stabell. In the spring of 2023, she finished her studies at the Academy of opera in Oslo with professor Solveig Kringlebotn.
She has extensive experience both as a soloist and as a performer in choirs and ensembles. She has several times been involved with, among others, Trondheim Vocal Ensemble and Nidaros Vocal. With the latter, she took part in the debut concert « Miserere » in 2021 in Vår Frue church in Trondheim. Since she started as a student at the Opera school through Opera Trøndelag, she has been very involved there both as a soloist and in choirs. Right from the midnight opera Olav Engelbrektsson on Steinvikholmen to newer productions in the Kimen cultural center.
In 2019, Emilie Nicoline became the very first recipient of Opera Trøndelag’s friends’ association’s talent award.
