Daan van der Schaft, a countertenor born in 1995, began singing at 8 in Utrecht’s Cathedral Choir. He is pursuing a master’s in Classical Singing at Hochschule für Musik Basel since 2023. Daan excelled as a soloist in Passion concerts, Utrecht Bach Cantatas, and notable works like Carmina Burana and Bach’s Mass in B minor. Daan’s choral experience includes singing with the Dutch Student Chamber Choir and the World Youth Choir.
