Since she was 11, she attended various baroque cello masterclasses with Christophe Coin and Gaetano Nasillo, with whom obtained the Master diplomas in cello and baroque cello at Novara’s Conservatory « G. Cantelli » with the highest marks. Now she is finishing the Master in viola da gamba under the guidance of Rodney Prada at Civica Scuola di Musica « C. Abbado » in Milan.

Giulia regularly plays with renowned Italian and Dutch ensembles focusing on the early performance practice on original instruments such as: La Compagnia dei Violini conducted by Alessandro Ciccolini, La Risonanza conducted by Fabio Bonizzoni, Ensemble Mare Nostrum conducted by Andrea De Carlo (with whom she recently recorded 2 operas by A. Stradella for Arcana label), Concerto Theresia and Theresia Orchestra conducted by Andrea Marchiol, Chiara Banchini, Alfredo Bernardini and Claudio Astronio, EUBO, Gli Originali conducted by Stefano Montanari, Consort e Coro Maghini conducted by Luca Guglielmi, LaVerdi Barocca conducted by Ruben Jais, Cremona Antiqua conducted by Antonio Greco, Stile Galante conducted by Stefano Aresi, Orchestra Nazionale Barocca dei Conservatori Italiani conducted by Enrico Onofri, Vanni Moretto and Alessandro Quarta, Accademia de La Chimera, Cappella Maria Barbara.
